EXTENSION OF GROUNDWATER PLANT DONAUINSEL NORTH
The MA 31 Vienna Water Department of the City of Vienna has been operating a groundwater plant with eight horizontal filter wells and a capacity of 500 l/s or 43,200 m3/day at the Danube Island North site since 2015. The groundwater plant Donauinsel Nord is now being expanded by a further 1,000 l/s capacity including pumping station and UV disinfection plant.
On behalf of the general designer AWE Water Engineering GmbH, convex ZT GmbH is preparing the civil works permit design.
